What does somatic mean?
Somatic means body, and the we are cultivating the capacity to notice what happening in our felt sense. As opposed to approaching the art conceptually or with our thinking mind we are inviting a bottom up processing, body based approach.
For people who need to know more about something to orient to safety or understanding we have some booklets you can take through the exhibit to give some explanations. Though we recommend noticing your responses to the pieces first before you read about them.
